We are absolutely thrilled to extend a very warm welcome to Tower Transit Group, the primary bus operator in Jersey, as the newest member of the ITSO community!

LibertyBus, operated by the Tower Transit Group, has recently undertaken an exciting digital transformation. They have successfully rolled out over 80 of Transmach’s next-generation, ITSO-certified TM700 modular electronic ticket machines (ETMs) across its network, marking Transmach’s official entry into the Channel Islands market.

A key driver behind LibertyBus joining ITSO was this strategic transition to Transmach as their new ETM supplier. This extensive fleet upgrade is paired with a new public point of sale terminal at the Liberation bus station in St Helier and a fully managed, cloud-based back-office system that seamlessly integrates nearly 100 smartcard products.

For passengers in Jersey, this investment translates to faster transaction speeds, efficient smartcard top-ups, and quicker boarding times. For drivers and travel shop staff, the hands-on transition has already delivered a reliable, modern framework to handle daily operations.

By joining the ITSO membership network, Tower Transit Group reinforces its commitment to high-standard, secure, and future-proof smart ticketing infrastructure.
