ITSO awarded Cyber Essentials Certification

ITSO has received certification to the Government’s Cyber Essentials scheme, demonstrating our continued commitment to cyber security best practice.

Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed, industry-supported programme that identifies a set of technical controls to help organisations protect themselves against common online security threats, especially when handling sensitive and personal information.

Following an assessment by a qualified assessor from IASME, the accreditation body for Cyber Essentials, we were awarded a Cyber Essentials certificate, validating that we comply with the requirements set out by Cyber Essentials.

This latest accreditation further demonstrates our commitment to staying up-to-date with current data security standards and best practice. Security is of paramount importance to us, and with the addition of the Cyber Essentials certification, our members can have confidence in our ability to significantly reduce the risks posed by cyber-based threats.
