This use case explores the journey of Vix Technology as they navigated the transition from the ITSO v2.1.4 framework to the newly released v2.1.5 Specification. By engaging with ITSO’s phased rollout strategy and leveraging technical support infrastructure, Vix successfully upgraded two of their ticketing validator devices - Adept and Rugged to the critical partial 2 phase of ITSO 2.1.5 certification. This use case highlights their development approach, the features implemented, and the subsequent operational and commercial benefits delivered to transport operators.
