Publication of Certification & Testing Session Details
Background
Suppliers who submit their products (CMD’s,
POST’s & HOPS) to be Certified and Tested to the ITSO
Specification must adhere to the procedures laid down by
ITSO.
Initially these procedures will provide a testing session date for
the submission of their products and outlines the testing process
and culminates in a Certificate being issued by ITSO.
Failure to comply with the procedures can have financial
implications (in the form of penalties) in the event that the test
session date is cancelled.

Currently there is limited availability for new applicants to apply
for Certification & Testing of their products.
If you have products that will require the Certification & Testing Service, then you would be advised to book a "testing session" as soon as possible. To do this please follow Procedure 6S - Apply for a Testing Session for which you will need to complete the first sections of Form 6S. Both of these documents are available as a download.

Certification & Testing - Additional Resource
The Certification & Testing Availability table (above) is based upon the maximum resource of 3 people that are available to ITSO under the standard terms of our Contract with the ITSO Authorised Test House up to and including February 2008 plus an additional 4th resource that was previuosly negotiated.
We have now successfully negotiated for a 5th resource to be available from March 2008 and so the availability from that date has been increased. All 5 resources are now bookable through the standard procedure outlined above without any limitations as previuosly imposed for the 4th resource.
ITSO Agreement with the Suppliers
Due to the potential commercial sensitivity of test session bookings, ITSO has agreed to keep test session details confidential, known by the ITSO Executive and the Certification & Testing Service Provider only.
The only information that ITSO freely publishes regarding the test sessions is the availability of dates for testing.
Requests for Testing Session Information
It is recognised by ITSO that Scheme Operators may from time to time require confirmation of the test sessions booked by the Suppliers to their Scheme. However, because of the confidentiality of this information ITSO will not allow the testing session details to be generally available.
Availability of Testing Session information for a specific scheme
If a specific Scheme requires confirmation of a specific Supplier’s test session information the following process will be followed:
Scheme asks the Supplier to provide them directly with the details of their testing session.
Scheme also asks the Supplier to agree that ITSO can confirm these
details.
Supplier provides the Scheme with both
the test session details and the authorisation for ITSO to
confirm.
Scheme provides both the details and the authorisation to
ITSO.
ITSO will then confirm directly and exclusively to the Scheme if
the testing session information for the specific Supplier is
correct. This information will simultaneously be copied to the
Supplier.
Suppliers who wish to have session details published
As an exception to the above, specific Suppliers may, if the wish, confirm to ITSO that the agree to have their test session details made generally available. The following table confirms the Suppliers that have provided this agreement to ITSO:
