Applied Card Technologies Ltd (ACT) is an independent UK company specialising in the design, development, installation and operation of e-commerce and smart card systems.  As a member of ITSO since 2003, ACT are experienced and proven in the ITSO transport market.

 

ACT has created and successfully delivered the majority of ITSO schemes currently live in the UK.  ACT also have the most up-to-date certification and were the first suppliers to receive v2.1.1 Full HOPS (AMS) certification.  Our knowledge and experience is therefore an integral part to any ITSO scheme.

 

ACT is proud to be supporting the majority of ITSO commercial and concessionary schemes including (but not limited to) Cheshire County Council for their ITSO Travelcard Project, Merseytravel for their ITSO Secure Electronic Ticketing Project, Nottinghamshire County Council for their ITSO Freedom Card Project and Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council for their ITSO Bolton Smart Card Project.

 

ACT understands that a HOPS (AMS) system cannot operate in isolation of existing transport management systems (e.g. card management systems) and has strived to build a flexible modular HOPS (AMS) solution, which can integrate well with existing systems.

 

In addition, ACT has fully integrated its own CMS and call centre management products with the ACT HOPS (AMS) - providing a complete turnkey package for our customers.
