Our site has been developed to assist all who have an interest in the development and use of public transport smartcards that seek to offer inter-operable multi modal services at some point in their development.

ITSO's interest is the security of cards, products and transaction data between inter-operable schemes. Whilst ITSO does not run schemes, provide equipment or influence commercial agreements, it does provide an environment for schemes to operate in and enjoy that security. more...  

ITSO Services Limited has been set up by Department for Transport and ITSO to provide certain services for the DfT and the non-smart Travel Concession Authorities to facilitate the implementation of the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme.
